Our Journey
From 2009 to 2020, Pintanna Estate evolved into a pioneering hub for Agarwood (Oud) research and cultivation in Sri Lanka. Guided by the visionary leadership of Mr. Kumar Dharmasena, the estate became the birthplace of innovation in sustainable Oud production. In 2020, he achieved a national milestone by becoming Sri Lanka’s first licensed Oud oil exporter, marking the establishment of Pintanna Plantations (Pvt) Ltd.
The journey advanced further in 2021 with the inception of Pintanna Oud (Pvt) Ltd, dedicated to exporting premium-grade Oud oil and wood to the global market, carrying the fragrance of Sri Lanka to every corner of the world.
Pintanna Estate
Nestled amidst the lush greenery of Ayagama, Ratnapura, Pintanna Estate spans over 1,500 acres of fertile land. It is home to over 75,000 Agarwood trees, cultivated alongside Tea, Rubber, Cinnamon, and Pepper, creating a diversified and eco-sustainable agricultural model.
Our estate embodies a perfect harmony between nature and innovation, where traditional cultivation techniques meet modern scientific methods to produce world-class Oud products. Every process—from plantation to extraction—is carried out with deep respect for the environment, ensuring quality, authenticity, and sustainability at every step.
